FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PROGRAM ... A ZERO STAR IS MORE APPROPRIATE!!! It is a complete scam. First trip we were reimbursed promptly. Our most recent trip, post the pandemic, has been a complete nightmare! We have been promised our reimbursement, after several emails/telephone calls, within two weeks ... It has been over 6 months and still no payment and very poor communication. They rely on customers "giving up" do to the time, effort, and attention you have to do.

Flyback Program total disregard for their contractural obligations

I originally purchased a GUSA Flyback program after having been an Exotics Travelers Member for quite a few years at El Dorado Seaside Suites. I was required to purchase additional weeks to my Exotic Travelers membership and Karisma Resorts in order to purchase and obtain the GUSA Flyback.

This itself proves that the companies are related - not separate entities. The first few times of a redemption request from GUSA went fairly well except for delays. I booked a trip for May/June 2020 for our family which had to be cancelled due to COVID. GUSA refused to extend my Flyback another year.

At the present time I am still waiting payment for a redemption submission I submitted in September of 2022 and also for a redemption submission I submitted in September of 2023. They attempted to disapprove my 2022 submission stating I did not notify them of receiving my payment from the previous submission. I did notify them via mail. I have been persistent in contacting them but keep reaching automated response, then emails stating that my redemption is in the "next stage" and will take another 30 days.

Enough is enough. Perhaps a class action suit should be proposed. Funny we pay for our trips in full 30 days prior to arrival in Cancun. When presented by their salespersons no mention of all the hoops you have to jump through are mentioned - only "each time you come back we give you $1,000".

A copy of a boarding pass should be sufficient, for goodness sakes they can see you made reservations and stayed at their resorts.

What ever happened to people just doing what they said they were going to do without all the lies and dishonesty. I'll be seeking full refund and reimbursement for my Exotic Membership as well as my GUSA Flyback since I am unable to use either due to the company not keeping their end of our contract.

I signed up for this program through Unlimited Vacation Club. I love UVC and trusted them to work with reputable companies.

Very disappointed with them!

This is my second trip to submit for payment. The first time they "thought my boarding passes were luggage claim tags", so it was a process to get paid, but it did happen and fairly close to the 6 weeks.

This time I sent a follow-up email, after the 6 weeks, and received a response that I needed to wait the 6 weeks. I responded again to get the same response again. I submitted 12/17/23 and still no payment!

I have nine more years of this!!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE

Following the rules to a tee our you'll lose the annual credit

The program is designed so there are many steps to follow and if you miss a dead line or upload the wrong information and you go past a specified deadline then you lose the opportunity for a credit that given year. If I had to do it all over I would pass on this program. They design the program for you to fail. Unless your like me and documentation and deadlines come easy then you'll come out on top. That will only happen if the company is still open by the end of my 10 year contract.

My earlier review from 2022 stated the issues of taking 3 1/2 months to process 2 pieces of information that I sent them copies. I was so happy to get my $1,000 that I thought it was done.

This is a 5-year deal, so here we go again, year 2. Same length of time but this time around after the 3 1/2 months of processing time, it was turned down because in paragraph 14 it says I must confirm payment of the previous year within 30 days of receiving the funds.

It was a direct deposit! I was so damn happy to get the money, I forgot to read paragraph 14.

Lesson learned - don't do business with A$$H0les.

If you pay for a service that isn't received is called BAD BUSINESS.. I've hard crickets from this company, I've been emailing with no response since August 2023! I'm very disappointed and glad my Husband and myself didn't renew when we were at our last Karisma Resort Anniversary Vacation in 2023.

No reinbursement

We went on vacation 2022 and it took over four months for our reinbursement after being told it would take only 2 weeks. I kept calling every 2 weeks for a status and every time i was told the same thing.

After a while I gave up. I called in November to complain again and they informed me to check my account while I was on the phone with them because the payment was sent. I confirmed with them that the payment was in my account and that we are good.

Well, this year we went again and now they are refusing payment because we never confirmed with them in 2022. I told them we spoke and confirmed last year but, the are refusing and my account has been suspended for i whole years for any reinbursements

Undocumented requirement

I got free weeks at the resort when I signed up. I used them on a reservation. Sent the reservation showing my resort club membership, dates along with my airline boarding pass. They now say I can not use both benefits at the same time. The agreement does not list that restriction. In fact the agreement says they are not part of the resort so why are concerned about what I paid for the room at the resort.

I was skeptical and very careful to gather my documents before submitting for the first refund. It arrived slowly, but that was explained up front. My second trip, we didnt receive the refunda. Customer service said it was because we never acknowledged receipt of the first refund. When we went in and ackowledged receipt, it came through. They need a printable checklist on their website, so we can gather our documents and check them off. We've used it 3 times now. Good value.

If your an Iberostar club member phone and complain to the club as they sold me the add on. I did after didn’t knowing I had to confirm receipt of check within 30 days.

Iberostar got involved and they processed my claim. $942 is pretty expensive penalty for not confirming receipt of a payment.

It’s a *** rule, with today’s electronic tracking for everything. It’s just another way to screw people over and pay.

Fly Back redemption

Buyer beware! Program states you have 45 days to submit required paperwork but appears they can take their time to refund money. We have used program about 4 times and have ALWAYS had to follow up and refund takes 6 months plus. I believe they hope people will just forget. For our last trip we missed an email from them asking for additional documentation and missed the deadline and they will not pay out.

AGREED! they purposely string out the entire process over a +6 month period.

they bank on people forgetting to adhere to their ridiculous terms of the contract. those that are considering purchasing this, should be aware of the terms of the contract
